First Day of School Info

If your student has an early bird class at the Career Academy, they should attend that class on Thursday. We will be handing out new schedules to all students on Thursday from 7:15-8:10 a.m. in the following locations:
Seniors - south side of the gymnasium
Juniors - north side of the gymnasium
Sophomores - outside of the auditorium
Freshmen - entrance to the gym

Upcoming Important LHS Information

Before picking up your Chromebook EVERY student must complete the following:
1.Digital Etiquette Course
2. Parents/Guardians and student must sign the permission form
Digital Etiquette Course Directions: (Roughly 40 minutes)
1. Go to Moodle:

3. On the top, hover over "Student" and click "Digital Etiquette"
4. Your enrollment password: online
5. Complete all 4 modules
Parents/Guardians & Student Signature Form:
* Any student who completed these requirements for summer school will not have to redo it.
* Chromebook covers should be 14 inches
* If you attended summer school, you already fulfilled these requirements.

Parent Night Aug. 29

Parent Night is Monday, August 29th at LHS from 6-8 p.m. Parents of all grades 9-12 are invited to attend to tour the school, view classrooms, meet teachers, pay fees, shop in the school store, and more!

LHS Homecoming Week

Homecoming Week September 5-9
- Monday: No School - Theme- "All I do is Win"
Event: Wear sports themed t-shirts and jerseys to the Powder Puff football game-6 pm @ Legacy High School-Admission is free. Following the football game, coronation will be held in the Auditorium.
- Tuesday: Theme-"Welcome to the Jungle" Wear your safari gear or dress up like your favorite animal.
Event: Come support the Boys Varsity Soccer players at their match against Century High School @ 8 pm at the Bismarck Community Bowl!
- Wednesday: Theme: "Party in the USA" Wear your American garb
- Thursday: Theme-"Country Boys can Survive" Wear any of your cowboy or camo attire
Event: Come support the Varsity Volleyball girls in their match up against Williston in the HAUSS...Time: TBD
- Friday: Theme-"Smells like Teen Spirit" Wear all your awesome Saber Gear!
Event: Tailgating- after school in the North Bowl Parking Lot Price: TBD. Snake Dance before the game.
Football Game: 6:30 pm @ the bowl
Homecoming Dance: 9-12 pm Price: $5 Location: Legacy High School

Senior Information

Class of 2017 Senior Photos - Please submit a jpeg file (at least 2.5 X 3.5 inches and 300 dpi resolution). PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT PRINTS. The face should be clearly visible. Portrait (tall/vertical) orientation is preferred. If horizontal images are submitted, images will be cropped to fit our vertical layout. The photos may have any color background or be taken outdoors. Full body shots make it difficult to see your child's face when the photo is sized for the yearbook, therefore, head and shoulders shots work best. Senior photos need to be emailed to by Oct. 28, 2016. Please include the words - Senior photo - and the child's name in the subject line. If you have any questions, please email Legend yearbook adviser Sue Skalicky at .

Class of 2017 Senior Ads - Senior ads are a very special tradition among graduating students that help parents and friends share pride in the graduate's achievements. Your recognition ad will be printed and remembered forever! By purchasing a space in the 2016-2017 Legend Yearbook you can tell them how special they are with your own pictures and in your own words. You must submit your Senior Ad form and payment by Oct. 7, 2016. Make checks payable to Legacy High School. Photos and wording need to be emailed to by Oct. 28, 2016. Please include your child's name in the subject line. Often, parents or friends choose to make this ad a surprise. If that is the case, please make that clear on the order form. If you have any questions, please email Legend yearbook adviser Sue Skalicky at . Order forms can be picked up in the main office.

Yearbook Policy - Senior photos must be of the senior only and may not be indecent or obscene in nature. All yearbook photos must not contain any illegal items including alcohol, cigarettes or weapons.
